Saguaro Cactus
Carnegiea gigantea is a rare cactus that is extremely slow growing, with a rate of only a fraction of an inch per year.
Still, saguaros are enormous cactus that are similar to trees in that they can grow to over fifty feet tall and live over two hundred years!
These unique cacti are only found in their native Sonoran Desert, where the temperature, rainfall, and soil are ideal for their growth.
