- IUCN: The International Union of Conservation of Nature is the world’s largest and most diverse environmental network. By providing knowledge and tools to private, public and other organizations, they create a stable way for nature and societies to thrive together.
- EPA: The U.S Environmental Protection Agency’s mission is to protect the environment and human health through national efforts. They enforce regulations and laws as well as providing grants, sponsor partnerships, publish information, study and teach people about environmental issues and so forth. The EPA is useful for learning about your environment or reporting major violations on fraud, waste or abuse.

- NPS: The National Park Service is entrusted with the care of the 429 national parks in the United States with the help of volunteers and partners. Their mission is to preserve the natural and cultural values for the enjoyment and education of future generations. If you’re wanting to learn more about nature or need an internship after graduation, the NPS is very useful.

- USGS: The U.S. Geological Survey was created by an act by congress to provide science which responds to the everchanging society we live in. They provide accurate scientific information to minimize loss of property and to ensure a better quality of life.

- USDA: The United States Department of Agriculture provides leadership on food, natural resources, nutrition, agriculture, and more. They help feed people around the world while also teaching better ways to grow food. The USDA is useful for farm and loan grants.
