Denali National Park is home to North America’s largest mountain, Denali.  With over six million acres of Alaska’s wild interior, this awesome park is larger than some countries!  Denali has a sub-arctic climate with glaciers and areas of permafrost.  There is a vast wilderness with alpine tundra and boreal forest and a variety of remarkable wildlife.

This vast preserve is home to a biologically diverse wilderness set in the awesome Alaskan Range with North America’s highest peak. The great mountain is known for its five iconic big mammals: bears, caribou, moose, sheep, and wolves.
