The Day Octopus

Our special feature of the day is… the incredible octopus! With over 300 known species, the octopus is one of the most fascinating creatures! These invertebrates have the largest brain-to-body ratio and are known to be very intelligent. Capable of solving puzzles, mazes, and more! Octopuses can be found in every ocean, from shallow to deep waters, typically hidden in small dens.
Unfortunately, not everyone recognizes their emotional and cognitive intelligence. Many are cruelly slaughtered or kept in inhumane tanks for food. By raising awareness, we can help protect our marine friends from these merciless conditions. All animals deserve compassion!
