Patriot Day

September 11, 2025

Today we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, a day that America will never forget. Terrorists hijacked and weaponized four large commercial jets in an attack on the United States of America. The twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed. The Pentagon was burning. A fourth plane was intentional crashed to avoid more loss of life.

People came from all across the country to help. Firefighters, emergency medical workers, police, and volunteers from all walks of life.

Today’s Memorial

We honor the heroes of September 11. We commend the remarkable people who ran into burning buildings to help. We recognize those who treated the survivors on the dusty smoke-filled streets. We acknowledge the heroes who dug through smoldering ruins in search of anyone who was still alive. We celebrate those who made it out as well as those who selflessly gave their lives that day. And we thank them all.
