Winter is Coming
We’ve passed the halfway point in autumn and northern states have already had their first frosts. The time is most definitely at hand to prepare for cold weather. Following is a winterizing checklist:
● Check Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors
● Disconnect hoses, drain and valve off outdoor lines
● Insulate and heat trace pipes and water systems
● Seal drafts (under and around doors, windows, etc.)
● Service primary and secondary heating systems
● Test boiler, fireplace, and furnace chimneys / vents
