The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is a bureau within the Department of Interior, created on June 30th, 1940. At one point, when the nation’s fish were depleting, it promoted Congress to seek solutions to reverse this crisis. Since then, its name has changed over the years, but its employees have always had the same grit, passion, and integrity. Now, their primary goal is to protect and conserve wildlife, fish, and plants to preserve habitats for future generations.
