The Coming Celebration

Anticipation is building for the coming two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the United States of America. Local, state, and federal government agencies are planning celebrations and events to commemorate our nation’s birthday, as are broadcast networks, businesses, private organizations, and citizens. The day is sure to be filled with ceremonies, barbeques, parties, and public addresses. Night will be lit with arial displays, fireworks, the aroma of good cooking, and the sound of festivities.
